Producer: Guima Café- São Mateus Agropecuária
Farm Name: Fazenda São Lourenço
Description: A strong dark chocolate-forward coffee with wine, orange, plum, and a creamy body.

In 1977 Dr. Flavio Pentagna Guimarães bought Fazenda São Lourenço with a big dream: to produce one of the best coffees in the world. Thus begins the story of Guima Café. Then came other farms, both in the same region. Over time, they have built a solid culture, supported by a commitment to continuous improvement, valuing employees, training, innovation, and opportunities regardless of gender. A commitment to show, every day, that it is possible to optimize operations and, at the same time, produce coffee with special nuances and with great care and dedication.

Attention to detail and obstinacy are characteristics of the women who manage the Guima Café, represented by the manager Lucimar Silva, who we are very proud to be part of her trajectory in the coffee industry. Guima Café has a diverse team with complementary profiles and aligned values. They believe in the strength of learning and in discovering and implementing new techniques. They have a management team that continuously innovates, with the support of all employees.

Coffee is harvested and processed with great care, and hygiene, with a focus on food safety. Our employees are trained so that the quality of the coffees is preserved at all stages They use a wet processing method for their coffee. This lot is the first crop of coffee, and its beans were carefully selected. The coffee was pulped, keeping its mucilage intact (honey process) before being dried on a tree-lined suspended terrace.
