My father was one of the first coffee growers in the municipality of San Pedro de Cartago. From him I learned agricultural work, specifically the coffee growing. For more than 45 years working and living from coffee production in my family's farm and as a result of this hard work I bought the El Porvenir farm. At first it was cultivated with fruit trees, then planted coffee variety caturra and lately Geisha varietal. I cultivate coffee with great care, since it has allowed me to improve my family's quality of life. Recently as result of the effort for so many years I managed to finish building my house and I am currently supporting my daughter in her professional studies, all thanks coffee growing to which I have dedicated practically my entire life.
