My name is Satrea Amambi. I started to get to know coffee plants in 2012 when my mother retired and started planting coffee. At that time I had not yet been involved in coffee. I started in 2014, getting involved in coffee management and business. In the beginning, I met a lot of baristas and roasters. Then, I decided to focus on coffee cultivation and processing because I learned that one of the biggest problems was sustainability where the quality and quantity of coffee in the farm was difficult to keep stable. In 2015 I started focusing on upstream and studied coffee plants by myself. We started producing green beans by means of wet hulling; then in 2017, we started studying how to produce processed honey and natural processing; and now we produce 70 percent natural coffee. And thank God, thank誷 to coffee, I am able to travel around Indonesia and was able to visit several other countries to promote Indonesian coffee. I hope that by joining CoE Indonesia, our coffee from West Java and Indonesia can be better known on the international stage.
