I am the third generation with 30 years of experience in the cultivation of coffee having started my father Joaquin Augusto Lovo Lovo Lopez coffee cultivation in Finca Bella Aurora in 1957. It has managed to obtain recognition awards in different positions in the different participations of the COE Cup of Excellence. In 2016 it won first place in the competition of the finest coffees in Nicaragua with this variety.
The cultivation of coffee is environmentally friendly being its cultivation under shade. I am focused on the production of specialty coffee. Paying attention to the varieties grown under good agricultural, social and environmental practices.
It is of great importance to maintain a good cup quality of the coffee produced through a good balanced nutrition, a good tissue management that keeps the crop renewed and rejuvenated permanently and that the harvesting of the crop is only through the grain at its optimum point of maturation, good pulping machines well calibrated, adequate fermentation piles and an optimum fermentation time for washing with spring water.
