My family has been related to coffee for more than 100 years, and I feel that tradition and destiny kept me in this beautiful vocation of coffee growing. Although I manage the family farm, in 2006 I had the opportunity to acquire my own farm which I named "Los Altiplanos de Datanli". From the first moment I saw these lands, I found a climate, a landscape and an unequaled ecology. I also knew that I would cultivate these lands with special varieties of coffee because the coffee produced there would transmit in the flavors of its beans that feeling that invaded me at that first moment that I knew this place. Los Altiplanos is a mysterious place, hidden among the mountains of the Datanli el Diablo natural reserve in the region of Jinotega, Nicaragua.
